CAPTURE THE droid
To launch the new Verizon DROID smartphone, we created an online and on-the-street scavenger hunt for May the 4th. First, we seeded videos on social with location clues using #CaptureTheDroid. Users could tweet the answer to win prizes.
Next, we alerted fans to find us in NYC. The first ones to say, "This is the DROID I'm looking for" won mobile devices, posters, and even tickets to Comic-Con.
